We are partnering with Huawei in the Seeds for the Future program.
10 Kuwaiti college students will be selected to be part of the annual information and communications technology (ICT) training program in Huawei Campus and R&D Centers in China
Requirements :
- Applicant must be Kuwaiti national
- Applicant did not participate in the program before
- Applicant must be a university student or fresh graduate
- Applicant must Speak English fluently
- Applicant must be undergraduate majoring in ICT or enrolled in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) studies with relation to Huawei business interests
Selection Process:
- An essay (400 words) demonstrating the student’s opinion on or interest in the ICT industry, his/her eligibility for the program, and his/her thoughts and suggestions on the country’s ICT industry development
- Arrange face to face interview in the final.

The Seeds for the Future program was first launched in Thailand in 2008. For the past 10 years, through university partnerships and outreach, 4,725 students from 125 nations had completed the program as of year-end 2018. This program has enabled Huawei to collaborate with local communities to share its ICT expertise, innovative technologies, and cross-cultural management experience in multiple ways.
The Seeds for the Future program was launched in Kuwait in 2014. In the past 5 years, about 60 students joined this program .
